A worked example
Worked example: while reviewing the calendar, a user finds two similar entries on one morning. One is a genuine repeat measurement, while the other was accidentally entered twice. They compare times and original readings, remove only the confirmed duplicate and retain the real repeat measurement. An unusual value without evidence of an input error stays. After correcting the journal they generate a new PDF because the previous file still holds the older state, and briefly explain where measurement conditions differed from their usual routine.

Correct errors without removing inconvenient facts
A quality check is not a way to make a chart smoother. Corrections should be based on the original instrument reading, a confirmed date or an identifiable entry error. When uncertain, recording that uncertainty is more useful than replacing a value with something plausible. Review timestamps, units, repeats and test entries. Check that free-form diary notes have not been mistaken for blood-pressure comments: only the latter appear in the version 1.2.2 PDF. Explain abbreviations in a separate summary. Finally, compare several report rows with the calendar to catch an incorrect period or an outdated export.
How to check the result
- Only confirmed errors have been changed.
- Repeat measurements are distinguished from duplicates.
- Abbreviations are understandable to the recipient.
- The finished PDF matches the corrected database.
