Check the finished file: the 1.2.2 PDF excludes medications, meals and the free-form diary; JSON is intended for restoration and discloses a wider data set.
A worked example
Worked example: someone preparing for a consultation plans to attach JSON because it contains the medicine cabinet and diary. They realize that it would disclose more history and is intended for restoration. Instead, they create a blood-pressure PDF for the relevant period and prepare a separate medication list. Meals and free-form diary notes will not automatically appear in the version 1.2.2 PDF. They open the finished document and check what is actually visible instead of relying on the names of sections in the app.
What to do
- 01
To transfer, use the JSON from the backup.
- 02
For consultation, create a PDF and check the period.
- 03
Don't send full JSON if you only need a report.
- 04
Delete the temporary file after the transfer is complete.
Common mistakes
- Consider the PDF as a full copy for recovery.
- Send JSON to the doctor out of habit.
- Do not check notes and medication list before exporting.
File contents depend on the format
JSON includes settings and lists for weight, meals, blood pressure, smoking, diary entries and medications for restoration. The PIN secret and biometric setting are excluded, but the file remains sensitive. The version 1.2.2 PDF is centred on blood-pressure entries with pulse; optional weight and smoking are matched by day, and wellbeing comes from the blood-pressure entry. Meals, the free-form diary and medicine cabinet are not exported into this PDF. Table rows follow blood-pressure readings, so a weight-only day does not create one. Choose the file according to the purpose of sharing.
How to check the result
- JSON is selected for restoration.
- The finished PDF is opened before the consultation.
- Medications and meals are not assumed to be included in the PDF.
- Table days are checked against blood-pressure entries.
For the document workflow, see creating a PDF journal.
How this works in Vesometr
Vesometr generates both files locally and transfers them only after the user has explicitly selected an external application.
Sources and fact checking
App features were checked against Vesometr 1.2.2. External sources explain general guidance, rather than validating individual medical conclusions.

Local protection
No account or INTERNET permission, with PIN, biometrics and a JSON backup.
Please check the destination and save location before exporting. Do not publish backups and reports via an open link; delete unnecessary copies from other people's or shared devices.
