Local data and secure copies

How Vesometr offline storage works, what goes into the backup copy, how to transfer the log and protect sensitive information.

10practical guides: from your first entry to checking the result

The working database, backups and shared files

An offline journal needs no account, but copies still require protection and a recovery plan. This section distinguishes the phone's database, restoration JSON and documents shared with other apps or people. The PIN limits access to Vesometr but does not encrypt exports. Chosen cloud storage or email has its own access rules even while the journal itself operates without the internet.

Start by creating a copy and checking its storage location, then review restoration and transfer. Import replaces current data, so preserve the target phone's state separately first. PIN secrets and biometrics are not transferred from JSON. Clearing the database does not erase other devices, Downloads or cloud folders. The guides help check a file's actual path instead of relying on a filename, a closed app or a single copy on the same phone.

What does an offline health diary mean?

The offline application stores work records on the device and does not require an account, but the user is responsible for the copy and selected transmission channels.
